BLUE HOPE FOUNDATION
Support
We support physically and mentally injured New Zealand police workers and their families.
Workplace injuries like PTSD are disabling and recognised as such under New Zealand and international law. Our work focuses on early practical support and guidance, for those harmed in the line of duty.
We help police personnel and their families navigate ACC, employment rights, and the mental injury system, so no one faces physical or psychological injury alone.

We are not clinicians, but here to guide you through GP referral, ACC processes, and recovery coordination.
“Once you leave the police, the contact stops. You go from serving every day to silence. I felt like I’d lost my community and my identity. Now, I have a place where I belong again. A place that understands what I’ve been through and supports me while I find my footing.”
Former NZ Police Officer
Blue Hope exists to support those injured while serving the public, primarily police and we are beginning to extend our support to paramedics.
