Hope Ride

We stand with injured police workers and their families  when the system falls short

Blue Hope Foundation supports New Zealand police workers and their families affected by trauma, PTSD and service related injury.
Our work focuses on providing practical guidance so those harmed in the line of duty can navigate ACC processes and employment systems with clarity and coordinated support.

HOPE RIDE Support for Police Families

March 2026

Hope Ride for Police Families

To stand with the families who carry the unseen impact of PTSD and suicide in the police service.

Allister Rose, founder of Blue Hope Foundation, will ride 1,100 km from Wellington to Cape Reinga to raise awareness of the burden carried by police families living alongside trauma, workplace harm, and complex systems.

The Hope Ride is about connection, conversation, and practical support, raising awareness, sharing stories, connecting with police communities, and helping Blue Hope support injured Police and their families.

Through each town and community it passes, the Hope Ride invites people to stop, connect, and stand alongside those carrying the hidden burden of police trauma.

Join us in bringing Hope.

The journey will be documented on Blue Hope's Instagram page. Follow the progress and donate.
